For the past number of months a broad range of groups have come together, convened by the Irish Community Action on Alcohol Network (ICAAN), to discuss this topic. This has involved representatives from the National Women’s Council, Rape Crisis Network Ireland, the USI, Tusla, the HSE Alcohol Programme, the Gardai, Pavee Point Traveller and Roma Centre, AkiDwa. The aim of coming together was to work towards a collective understanding and to build an inclusive and non-blaming approach to this topic. We are delighted to now ask you to ‘save the date’ for the first in a series of hour long seminars.
