There was a large turnout at Sunday’s Organic Centre Open Day in Rossinver where the weather conditions were ideal for what proved to be a very successful and well-organised promotion by the Centre
Speaking after the Open Day was over, a happy Organic Centre’s Hans Wieland said “a big crowd gathered in glorious sunshine to enjoy walks, talks and displays by staff and students of the Organic Centre to give advice on how to grow the best vegetables organically”.
“The message of the day was every garden can be run organically, from the smallest to the largest, whatever the location and everyone young and old can grow organic vegetables, frut, herbs and flowers. Growing organically produces healthy, nutritious food and the Organic Centre staff encouraged everyone to grow some food for themselves and the family.”
