First Fortnight are delighted and proud to be hosting Europe’s Mental Health Arts Festival in January 2019
What Will They be Accepting?
They will be accepting submissions from Irish and European based artists working in any medium for the festival, which will take place January 2019, until June 29th 2018. These events will take place in several venues across the primary festival hub of Dublin city and throughout the country of Ireland. Artists with an interest in the prejudice, discrimination and stigma connected to mental health are particularly welcome to apply.
How Do I Apply?
Please send proposals using the form on the website HERE, including a one page description detailing your proposal and its relevance to Europe’s Mental Health Arts Festival, a brief artist’s statement and bio, estimated budget, links to web-sites/blogs and/or maximum of 5 samples of proposed/previous work (in zip format).
Please note it is important to include all of the above as First Fortnight will not be in a position to contact submitters regarding any missing part of the application.
The budget needs to include all confirmed, pending and projected sources of income and in kind support. Expenditure needs to include all confirmed, pending and projected sources of expenditure (although we understand not all submissions will have a venue and associated budget identified, please just highlight this in your application).
All proposals must be submitted in English- if your project contains components of other languages, please explain how this can/will be translated or communicated to the public.
