Strategic Planning Workshops for Community Groups
Does your Community Group have a long term plan? Leitrim Development Company will hold strategic planning workshops on 7th and 14th of November at 7pm in their building in Drumshanbo to assist groups through the process of developing plans for their areas or their groups. These strategic planning workshops will focus on vision, mission, aims and objectives, operational planning, governance and performance management and financial planning. The sessions, delivered by Liam Scollan, Community Consultant and Coach, will be practical and will facilitate participation.
Having a strategic plan in place is vital for community groups for good governance, with clear aims and objectives. It is vital that these plans are based on consultation and needs of an area or a community . Comprehensive plans are required now for some funders including LEADER.
