What Is The Sports Capital Programme?

The Sports Capital Programme is the Government’s primary vehicle for providing support to sports clubs and communities to develop sports infrastructure around the country. Applications can only be made online from 9am on Friday 7th September until 5pm on Friday 19th October, 2018. €40 Million has been allocated for this funding round.

Organisations must be registered with the DTTAS using the Online Sports Capital Register (OSCar) by October 5th 2018 and applications made by 19th October 2018.

All applicants must be registered on the Department’s online system and any clubs which are not already registered to do so now, or you will not be able to make an online application for funding. The guide to making an application was also published on the Department’s website last week and is available in the useful links section below. Registrations will close at 5pm on Friday 5th October.
