Masters in Therapeutic Interventions for Alcohol and other Drugs. This is a new collaborative Masters Programme between Letterkenny Institute of Technology and the Alcohol Forum.
The Masters is developed for those passionate about learning the practical and theoretical skills that support people struggling with alcohol and other drug use/misuse. It is suited to professionals or recent graduates from a range of fields such as:
- Community Development
- Family Support
- Addiction Treatment
- Counselling
- Social Work
- Nursing
- Policing
- Employment
- Education and
- Health Care.

What’s Involved?
The course starts Sept. 2019 and takes place over 2 years. It is part time, delivered over 2 Fridays and 2 half day Saturdays each Semester. The course costs € 5000 for the entire programme and tax relief is available.
