Love Where You Live is run jointly by Leitrim County Council and Leitrim Public Participation Network (PPN) each year.
The aim of these awards is to publicly acknowledge the great work of communities and volunteers. Everyone in County Leitrim is invited to take part in these unique awards which celebrate the positive contribution that communities, schools and individuals make to our county.
Last year there were over 98 entries across 6 categories, there were 37 Prize Winners and there were 246 attendees at the awards night.
The Love Where You Live 2024 Award Categories are :
- Primary Schools-Actions for Pollinators
- Green Community of the Year
- Estate of the Year
- Diaspora
- Social Inclusion
- Community Achievement
The judging process for the 2024 Love Where You Live Awards will take place in May 2024.
SAVE THE DATE:- Each finalist will receive three complimentary tickets to the awards night at Lough Rynn Castle on 10th October, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with neighbor’s and friends, as well as to meet others who share the same love for Leitrim.
Closing date for nominations is 07th April 2024.
