Representation on committees and boards that influence policy and actions is the fundamental basis of public participation. There are 16 current vacancies for representation for Leitrim PPN members. Most committees meet at least 4 times a year and a representative is expected to be prepared for the meeting and provide a brief outline of the topics discussed afterwards so that the wider membership can comment or feed into any relevant actions or decisions.
