WORK IN PROGRESS – FINAL CALL FOR INFO

DefibrillatorAbout 6 months ago, Leitrim PPN and Leitrim Volunteering Information Service started work mapping public defibrillators in Leitrim. We have had a good response but it’s time to finalise the details we have so far and launch the map for use.

So far we have the details of 24 public use defibrillators across the county. We know there must be more out there and our database is short on locations in the north of the county. So come on, help us save a life and tell us where the defibs are. you don’t have to do anything else. If you need more information on the project – CLICK HERE or contact us s

More Funds Community Enhancement Programme 2018

NEWSFLASH – Minister Michael Ring announced additional funding for the CEP 2018. Leitrim’s allocation is € 54, 048. No new call for applications will be made. Rather it is expected that the extra funds will support applications that did not receive any or full funding. The decision on this will be made by each local authority through the Local Community Development Committee. As soon as we have any extra news we’ll let you know. CLICK HERE for more on this story.

Coming Soon: Re-Registration with Leitrim PPN

As you all must know, General Data Protection Regulations were changed with effect from May 25th this year. There has been a lot of work done, including training for PPN Members, but there are some still things that organisations have had opposite advice on.

All PPNs are being asked to re-register all groups in the coming weeks and before the end of 2018. The process is being given a final polish but once that’s complete we hope it’s as easy as possible for you.

There is good reason for the re-registration:

  1. It means we have up to date details and send the right stuff to the right people;
  2. It ensures Leitrim PPN is GDPR compliant.
More details to follow but please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any concerns.
