LEADER funding is now available for water conservation in county Leitrim.
The funding is available through the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020.
Funding of up to fifty per cent is available to private businesses and seventy-five per cent to community groups.
Allocations will cover such areas as signage-both interpretative and directional.
Funding also assists angling and bird watching infrastructure.
Picnic areas and walking trails will also quality.
Walking trails, outdoor classrooms and the management of invasive species are also included.
