Last chance to have your say on alcohol policy

posted in: Consultation, News | 0

Alcohol policy is changing all the time, and often when we are making policy we do not know what the general public think.

A team from Queens University Belfast, the Ulster University, the Alcohol Forum and the Irish Community Action on Alcool Network would like to know your thoughts on alcohol, drinking, and alcohol policy.

If you live in any county in Ireland, and are aged over 18, we’d love to hear from you.   We ask your views now, in six months’ time and in a year’s time.

There are three prize draws (each 1 in 4 £50 amazon vouchers) with draws taking place in the two weeks after each survey closes.

Thanks a million for considering taking part and full details are here. https://ulsterhealth.eu.qualtrics.com/…/…/SV_d51mLtU7UZkZmlL

To protect your anonymity, the first questionnaire asks you to consent, to give your email address (so we can contact you about follow up), the last four digits of your telephone number and last three characters of Eircode/postcode.

It then has a link to the main study where your details are matched using the last digits of phone number and Eircode/postcode. It sounds a bit complicated but it keeps your email address separate from your answers but still allows us to contact you regarding your follow up questionnaires. Your data is held securely at Ulster University.
