Heat The Elderly is a new initiative in County Leitrim.
The aim of the scheme is to provide electric blankets or fuel vouchers locally.
The One By One non-profit organisation is behind the project.
It was established as the name suggests to make a difference ‘one by one.’
Though sales of crafts and cakes they raise funds to buy blankets or fuel vouchers.
Blankets and vouchers are bought and distributed locally.

Their next fund raising appearance is at the Christmas Craft Fair at The Dock, Carrick-on-Shannon, on Saturday from 10am-5pm.
They will also be in The Mayflower, Drumshanbo, on Sunday from 12.30pm-3pm, Market Yard, Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th (12pm-5pm) and in the Community Centre Drumkeerin on Sunday, December 15th from 2pm.
