Leitrim County Council Arts Office has published application details and closing dates for a number of grant programmes and opportunities.
These are available to individual artists, arts festivals and arts venues for funding towards activities in 2020.
In addition to the ongoing schemes, a new funding programme to support artists wishing to perform or exhibit internationally has been developed.
This has a closing date of 29th March 2020.
Details of the schemes are as follows:
• Venues Programming Support:
Closing Date – 11th November 2019
• Individual Artists Bursaries:
Closing Date – 11th November 2019
• Arts Festivals Support Scheme:
Closing Date – 2nd December 2019
• Mentorship Programme:
Closing Date – 29th March 2020
• International Performance & Exhibition Award:
Closing Date – 29th March 2020
Arts festivals and arts venues should note the earlier date for application.
This ensures that applicants can apply for support towards activities and events happening in the earlier months of the year.
To support arts festivals intending on developing an application and organizing an arts festival in 2020, a half-day information and exchange event will be held on the morning of Friday 8th November in the Council Chambers in #Carrick on Shannon.
This will be followed by a series of one-to-one sessions in the afternoon.
