Next week – on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th July – volunteers from GEAI (Good Energies Alliance Ireland) and IT Sligo will knock on Ballinamore doors to find out how its households use energy and how much it costs them. The purpose of this action is to encourage people to be more aware of their energy consumption and energy efficiency and to see if improvements can be made. This project is part of a National SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) research program aiming to improve communities’ energy uses all over Ireland.
Please cooperate with the volunteers as the drive of their commitment to this task is to make everyone’s life better by helping to improve the comfort of houses and slowing down global warming at the same time.
