Local Economic and Community Plan

Leitrim County Council has appointed KPMG to assist in preparing County Leitrim’s new Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP). The new LECP will cover 2023-2029 and will guide the sustainable development of the County and ensure that Leitrim is a thriving place to live, work and prosper.

Consultation for the new plan has now commenced with Workshops scheduled for the coming weeks and Online Surveys for both the community and private sector. For more information on the consultation process please visit: http://www.leitrimcoco.ie/eng/business/local-economic-and-community-plan/

 Details of the online surveys and workshops are provided below.

 Online Surveys

Please see below links to the two online surveys which have been designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the economic and community landscape in Leitrim and associated needs. Surveys should be completed by 4.00pm on Friday 27th January 2023.

As part of the consultation process we have scheduled workshops for the community and other key stakeholders throughout the County. The workshops will last approximately 1.5 hours and be conducted remotely using Zoom. They will include discussions on the draft high-level goals as set out in the draft Socio-Economic Statement (attached) and give you the opportunity to provide your views on the development of Leitrim over the next number of years.

There are two scheduled workshops in January. We would be delighted if you could attend the workshop that best suits your schedule. Please find details and links to register below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
