Alcohol Licensing – Community Action on Alcohol

posted in: Events, News | 0

Alcohol Licensing affects how alcohol is served in your community. How many licenses, are they bars, dining or off-sales, what time they can stay open until? and so on.

The North West Regional Drug & Alcohol Task Force is hosting an

Alcohol Licensing Information Session for Communities

This is part of an ongoing community action on alcohol project and supports the Sligo City Alcohol Strategy 2018 – 2023.

Alcohol Licensing Info Session 04072019

The information workshop will give individuals and communities:

  •  a voice to express their concerns/opinions about the widespread availability of alcohol and the harm arising from its misuse;
  •  an opportunity to come together to understand the laws around alcohol licensing;
  •  information as to how and on what  grounds one can object to new and existing licenses;

Individuals and PPN Members from all over the North West are welcome and encouraged to take part.

If you want to attend – Contact: drugtaskforce@nwdrugtaskforce.ie  or call:  071 9151520 no later than Friday the 28th of June.
